Strategic Planning
Simply put, strategic planning determines where an organization is going over the next several years, how it's going to get there and how it'll know if it got there or not.
We have expertise in a variety of perspectives, models and approaches to strategic planning. The way we approach strategic planning depends, in part, on the factors such as the nature of the organization's mission, leadership, culture, complexity, size and the expertise of internal planners.

Quite often, an organization's planners already know much of what will go into the strategic plan. However, development of the strategic plan greatly helps to clarify the organization's direction and ensures that key leaders are all "on and following the same script." Far more important than the strategic plan document, is the strategic planning process itself. We strive to improve the chances of success by introducing you to consultants who not only are competent in the strategic planning process, they also have the appropriate background, credibility and proven know-how to get the job done right the first time.
Kevin Patterson, Manager of City and County of Denver (CO) Department of General Services commented:
“… has worked on our strategic plan and helped us design a tool that can help us be more effective and responsive to our clients. She brings a large amount of expertise and discipline to the process that is essential to keeping things moving forward.” |

Dan Smink, President of the Board of the $35 million nonprofit, Mental Health Center of Denver noted:
“… served as the facilitator for our annual Strategic Planning retreat. She was a very effective organizer, facilitator, and motivator. She drew upon her own extensive experience in this area of board development and coupled it with the strengths and needs of our organization. The result was the most effective annual planning retreat in the seven years." |
